Support for Canadian defence and security

Many Canadian defence exporters see strong demand in allied markets where defence investment and modernization programs are expanding, such as Asia-Pacific, the U.K. and Europe. Opportunities also arise in regions where Canada maintains strong trade relationships and where certification and procurement processes align with Canadian capabilities.

Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the transaction. Some insurance solutions can be arranged quickly, while larger financing arrangements may require additional review and due diligence. We work closely with you to move as efficiently as possible.

In addition to export-related transactions, we can now consider support for projects that increase Canada’s domestic defence and security capabilities, if they align with our mandate. This can include expanding or building manufacturing facilities when some of the production will be exported or used in exported products.
