No. Portfolio Credit Insurance is designed to be flexible, so you can choose the coverage you need. You can cover all sales to your customers, or just a portion of them.

Your policy will pay up to 90% of the value of your insured invoice if:

• Your customer declares bankruptcy
• Your customer defaults on their payment
• Your international customer refuses to accept the goods
• Your customer terminates your contract before you ship (in some cases)
• Hostilities in a particular market prevent your international customer from paying
• Cancellation of export/import permits
• Issues with currency conversion or transfer

You won’t be covered if:

• The loss relates to goods shipped when your customer was already in default of their payment obligation
• Your customer is disputing the amount they owe you (we can only pay once the dispute is settled and the amount owing by the customer is clearly established)
