
Ran is the Chief Representative for Greater China at EDC, responsible for leading EDC’s local teams and overseeing market strategy, business development, and stakeholder and diplomatic engagements. Before this role, Ran was the Regional Manager for Indo-Pacific, where she played a pivotal role in shaping EDC’s Indo-Pacific strategy. Ran first joined EDC as a Senior Strategy Advisor and was instrumental in developing EDC’s 2030 strategy. Prior to joining EDC, Ran worked as a global management consultant and an expat, advising multinational corporations with their strategy and operations across Asia, the United States and Mexico. She has provided strategic insights and facilitated important connections for Canadian companies doing business internationally. Ran holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from Queen’s University. Ran is a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) and a Fellow of Life Management Institute (FLMI). Ran currently serves on the Boards of Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) and the Canadian International Council (Edmonton Chapter).
