Marta Recinos is an International Business Advisor at Export Development Canada’s International Business Advisory (IBA) Services team. IBA offers tailored research and advisory services designed to assist Canadian companies in choosing, entering, or expanding in international markets.

In this role, Marta has provided customized support to EDC customers, helping them select, understand, enter, or expand internationally by equipping them with information, guidance, resources, and tools to advance their international growth.

Prior to joining EDC, Marta worked at Euromonitor International, where she conducted market research and analysis for Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries. Beyond her roles at EDC and Euromonitor, Marta brings 15 years of experience working with government organizations and international development agencies, assisting companies around the world with international market entry strategies and enhancing the capacity of trade support institutions to deliver inclusive export support services.

Marta holds a master’s degree in International Commerce from the University of Kentucky and an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the Universidad de El Salvador.
