Bruce Dunlop is regional vice-president of Export Development Canada’s (EDC) operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He works to increase the success of Canadian companies across multiple sectors with a particular focus on energy transition, cleantech and agri-food.
Since joining EDC in 1996, Dunlop has held senior positions across the corporation. From the Ottawa head office, he led the Risk Management, Commercial Markets and Small Business and Global Business Development teams before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2022.
He’s committed to collaborating with clients and partners to meet the challenges facing both Canada and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and ensuring companies on both sides of the Atlantic benefit from their bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements.
A graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, he’s passionate about diversity and inclusion, bilingual in English and French and sits on the board of the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce.
