Bill Macheras
Bill Macheras is a deputy director and trade commissioner with Global Affairs Canada, Ontario Regional Office. He’s based in Toronto and has been with the department since 2004. His team is part of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), which helps Canadian companies develop their business internationally.
Macheras has successfully completed foreign assignments in Athens, Warsaw, Budapest and Washington. He holds an Honours bachelor of arts degree from York University, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University and is a certified international trade professional with the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT).
