Alex Héroux
Alex Héroux works for Global Affairs Canada as the second secretary for trade and economic policy with Mission of Canada to the European Union (EU).
Based in Belgium, he supports Canadian companies in navigating the EU’s regulatory system and identifying strategic market opportunities in key sectors, including cleantech, energy and life sciences.
His work focuses on engagement with EU institutions on trade policy and market access, as well as strengthening co-ordination between Canadian and European stakeholders on key economic and trade priorities.
