As one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, India continues to attract foreign investment due to its competitive labour costs, high potential domestic market with a young large population, and skilled workforce. Although there are some challenges to doing business in India⁠—bureaucracy, underdeveloped infrastructure, lingering corporate and social responsibility issues and tariff barriers⁠—it’s a country with tremendous economic potential and has made great strides in transforming its business environment into an attractive place to invest.
