Jorge A. Rave is Export Development Canada (EDC)’s Regional Vice-president for Latin America and the Caribbean based out of the agency's Mexico City regional hub. He is a multilingual, high-energy business strategist with a proven record of forging strategic relationship and leading high-performance teams. Jorge’s experience in the banking sector includes country risk analysis, corporate lending, export support and international trade. Being passionate about international affairs, he has a proven track record of helping businesses realize their success in emerging markets. Jorge is a regular speaker at international finance and trade conferences and a frequent author of articles on international trade. Jorge holds a bachelor's degree from UPB in Colombia, a master’s degree in International Relations from the Université of Québec in Montreal (UQAM) and a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Strategy and Innovation from Said Business School at Oxford University. Having lived in five different countries, Jorge is passionate about ID&E issues and is an active member of EDC's Employee Resource Groups. He's also on the Board of directors for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico.
